This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Thunderstorms are expected at times through late this evening.
Some of these storms could become strong to severe. The best
chance of severe storms is expected over central Wisconsin. The
main threats would be damaging winds and hail. Very heavy
rainfall will be possible with any storms that form.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Tuesday

There is a continued chance for thunderstorms Wednesday across
east-central Wisconsin as an area of low pressure moves northeast
along a cold front. These storms are not expected to be severe.

Thunderstorm chances are forecast to increase again late this
week and into the weekend as a warm front, followed by another
cold front, moves through the region. It is too early to determine
whether any of these storms may become severe.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report any hail, any wind gusts over
40 mph, flooding and rainfall totals greater than an inch.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Lake
Michigan and the waters of Green Bay.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Increasing south winds and building waves will result in conditions
hazardous to small craft into this evening.

Thunderstorms are expected through late this evening, posing a
hazard to mariners.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Tuesday

The chance for thunderstorms will continue into Wednesday night
and return Friday into next weekend. Any storms that develop will
pose a hazard to boaters on the lake and bay.

NORTHEASTERN LINCOLN...EASTERN ONEIDA AND NORTHWESTERN LANGLADE
COUNTIES UNTIL 630 PM CDT...

At 540 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles east of Crystal Lake Scout Reservation
to 8 miles southeast of Rhinelander to near Harrison. Movement was
southeast at 10 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Rhinelander, Crandon, Tomahawk, Newbold, Harrison, Woodboro, Parrish,
Gilbert, Crystal Lake Scout Reservation and Bradley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
