FOR LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND GUSTY WINDS FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 
136 AND 137...

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 136 and 137.

* TIMING...Through 8 PM this evening.

* WINDS...Northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...In the mid 70s.

* IMPACTS...New fire ignition may be difficult to contain with 
  gusty winds, warm temperatures, and low humidity creating 
  favorable conditions for rapid fire spread in dry fuels.

Humidity is rising as it becomes night time and winds are also
coming back down, thus the Red Flag Warning has expired.

.DISCUSSION...
Northwest flow will continue across the area as high pressure
builds across the Great Basin. This will lead to another breezy
day Tuesday as another weak cold front approaches from the north.

This front will move through Northeast Montana Tuesday afternoon
and evening, turning winds around more to the north after its
passage. Temperatures ahead of the front will rise into the mid-
70s and elevated fire weather conditions are expected across the
far northeast part of the state as northwest to north winds reach
20 to 30 mph. Relative humidity will be high enough in Montana to
keep from reaching critical fire weather conditions.

There will be a slight chance of a few showers across the far
northeast part of the state from around 3 PM to 9 PM along and
behind the front. Little in the way of measurable precipitation is
expected. Temperatures will be cooler Wednesday with highs only
reaching the 60s.

The ridge building across the Great Basin will shift east bringing
the ridge axis over the region Wednesday night through Friday.
This will lead to warming conditions with highs warming back into
the 70s and 80s for Thursday.

Another weak front looks to move in from the north Friday evening
into Friday night, though it looks to be a dry frontal passage.

A large trough moves into the Pacific Northwest next weekend and
could bring chances for active weather as we head into next week.
There remains a lot of uncertainty this far out, so stay tuned for
more details as we move through the week.

FLIGHT CAT: VFR.

DISCUSSION: Mostly clear conditions overnight with light winds at
the surface leading to some LLWS across the area. Breezy again
tomorrow with a mostly sunny sky.

WIND: Light and variable winds overnight. Winds increase Tuesday
afternoon out of the NW at 10 to 20 knots.
