This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight...

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible for far north Georgia
tonight with the main threats being damaging wind, occasional
lightning, hail, and brief periods of heavy rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday...

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible Monday through
Wednesday, with the highest chances of storms expected in North
Georgia. Monday's storms over North Georgia will have the
strongest potential for severe weather with strong wind gusts and
hail possible.

Another round of showers and thunderstorms will be possible on
Friday as well along a stronger frontal system.

CATOOSA...WALKER AND DADE COUNTIES UNTIL 745 PM EDT...

At 654 PM EDT...a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from Cagle to near Fackler to near Woodville...and moving
east at 70 mph.

  HAZARD...Winds 40 to 50 mph.

  IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
           light...unsecured objects.

Some locations in the path of these storms include
Dalton, Lafayette, Ringgold, Trenton, Fort Oglethorpe, Rossville,
Chickamauga, Trion, Varnell, Lookout Mountain, Tunnel Hill, Cohutta,
Menlo, Center Post, Subligna, Blue Spring, Fairview, Linwood,
Villanow and Cloudland.
