...A BAND OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN OSWEGO
COUNTY...

A band of lake effect snow will continue to move through central and
southeast Oswego County this morning. The snow may be briefly heavy,
reducing visibility to less than a half mile and resulting in snow
covered roads.

Locations impacted include...
Fulton, Central Square, Hastings, Constantia, West Monroe, Palermo,
New Haven, Phoenix, Mexico, Williamstown, Cleveland, Parish,
and Altmar.

This includes Interstate 81 between exits 32 and 35.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads and very poor visibility.
Slow down and allow extra time when traveling.

...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL SETTLE ACROSS THE ROCHESTER METRO AREA
EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...

At 1156 AM EST, an developing band of lake effect snow was moving
into Monroe County. This band will move across the Rochester metro
area before spreading further south and east into Ontario and Wayne
counties through 130 p.m. Snow may be briefly heavy, reducing
visibility to less than a half mile and resulting in snow covered
roads. Winds gusting to 35 mph will result in areas of blowing and
driving snow.

Locations impacted include...
Rochester, Greece, Irondequoit, Chili, Brockport, East Rochester,
Hilton, Webster, Fairport, Brighton, Gates-North Gates, Hamlin Beach
State Park, Ontario, Henrietta, Penfield, Newark, Williamson, Marion,
Lyons and Spencerport.

 This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 390 between exits 11 and 12.
 Interstate 90 between exits 46 and 42.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
