...A fast-moving snow squall will affect central and southern
Rhode Island...

At 915 PM EDT...A snow squall was along a line extending from near
Exeter to near Norwich--New London, and was moving southeast at 45
mph.

This snow squall will produce a rapid but brief period of reduced
visibilities along with wind gusts up to 40 mph. Little if any snow
accumulation with wet pavement.

Locations impacted include...
South Kingstown, North Kingstown, Newport, Westerly, Portsmouth,
Middletown, Narragansett, East Greenwich, Hopkinton, Charlestown,
Richmond, Exeter, West Greenwich, Jamestown, Little Compton and North
Stonington.

Drivers should be prepared for a rapid but brief drop in visibility
as this snow squall moves through. Slow down.

Winds may be strong enough to produce minor damage, such as downed
branches.
