...TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN EXTREME NORTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS ON THE NEW
HAMPSHIRE BORDER...

At 425 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of showers with
torrential rainfall across extreme northeast Massachusetts right
along the New Hampshire border. This will result in pockets of poor
drainage street flooding.

Locations impacted include...
Lowell, Lawrence, Haverhill, Methuen, Chelmsford, Dracut,
Newburyport, Amesbury, Tyngsborough, Salisbury, Groveland, Merrimac
and West Newbury.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded roads or underpasses. Avoid low lying
areas near small streams.
