This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Light snow will diminish this afternoon and end by early evening.
Additional snowfall will be under half of an inch. It will be a
cold day, with wind chills in the single digits most of the day.
Lows will drop below zero across most locations tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A strong and very moist northwestly flow aloft will bring a
period of heavy snow to the mountains late day Wednesday through
early Saturday. The snowfall is expected to pile up in the high
mountains on Thursday and Friday, heaviest along northwest facing
slopes. There will be a good chance of snow over the plains
Thursday night and Friday as well, with localized bands of
heavier snowfall possible. Temperatures will be below normal
through Friday with slightly warmer readings for the weekend.
Another storm system could bring snow the mountain areas on Sunday
with a slight chance of snow spreading into the northeast plains
of Colorado by Monday.
