At 741 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Falls Village,
or 11 miles northwest of Torrington, moving northeast at 30 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Lee, Sheffield, Norfolk, Otis, Canaan, Sandisfield, Falls Village,
Ashley Falls, Goshen, New Marlborough, Cornwall, Monterey, Tyringham,
South Norfolk, Sodom, South Canaan, Hartsville, Konkapot, Wangum
Village and Gomorrah.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
