This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Strong to severe storms are possible across the region, mainly during
the evening hours. The main threat should be strong winds with
clusters and lines of storms in the evening, and possibly into the
overnight hours. Other isolated storms could produce large hail, but
the main threat remains strong winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday the potential for storms lingers, mostly in far eastern SD
along the I29 corridor.

COUNTIES UNTIL 1100 PM CDT...

At 1019 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Midland to near Okaton to
near Cedar Butte. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.

Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Murdo, Vivian, Draper, Okaton and Westover.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for
central South Dakota.
