Outflow boundaries from dry thunderstorms in the vicinity of the Vics Peak fire may scatter smoke in additional directions. Showers and thunderstorms will be more widespread today into tonight with localized flash flooding possible around recent burn scars. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Friday. Shower and thunderstorm coverage will continue to be widespread through the holiday weekend, especially along and east of the central mountain chain, as a modest monsoon flow develops. Minor flooding or localized flash flooding will be possible over and below recent burn scars.
