* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Little River County in southwestern Arkansas...
  Sevier County in southwestern Arkansas...
  Howard County in southwestern Arkansas...
  McCurtain County in southeastern Oklahoma...
  Northern Red River County in northeastern Texas...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 755 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have 
  already fallen across portions of the warned area. Flash flooding 
  is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  De Queen, Clarksville, Dierks, Horatio, Umpire, Idabel, Broken Bow,
  Lockesburg, Gillham, Athens, Bagwell, Manchester, Wright City,
  Valliant, Detroit, Millerton, Haworth, Garvin, Eagletown and Moon.

Additional rainfall amounts of two to four inches will be possible 
across the warned area.

Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest
Louisiana, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

A frontal boundary will push southeast into the area this
afternoon into tonight, bringing two rounds of severe weather. The
first round, late this afternoon into the early evening hours will
bring the threat of damaging winds and large hail. The second
round, late this evening into the overnight hours will bring the
threat of damaging winds with embedded isolated tornadoes
possible. Localized flash flooding will be possible this evening
and tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday...

An unsettled pattern will setup over the Four State Region for the
upcoming week. For the most part, daytime heating will lead to the
chance for showers and thunderstorms to remain in the forecast
through next weekend. Some of the stronger storms may produce
locally gusty winds and brief, heavy rainfall each day. Localized
flash flooding will be possible with slower moving storms through
this period.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of emergency management personnel, amateur radio
operators, and storm spotters is requested this afternoon through
Monday morning.

At 626 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles west of Sarepta to 6 miles southeast of
Cotton Valley. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Springhill, Haynesville, Cullen, Cotton Valley, Sarepta, Emerson,
Shongaloo, Macedonia, Welcome, Evergreen, Leton, Walkerville,
