.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms through this evening. A few
storms could be strong to possibly severe especially east of the
Continental Divide.

Elevated fire weather conditions across the extreme south this
afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Independence Day...Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms
across mainly northern and northwestern Wyoming. It will be driest
across southwest Wyoming.

At 1237 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Midwest, which is 23 miles southeast of Kaycee, moving northeast at
35 mph.

Penny size hail will be possible with this storm.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Linch around 1255 AM MDT.

This includes Interstate 25 between mile markers 230 and 233.

...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...

At 243 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm pushing
across Riverton, moving northeast at 40 mph.

The main hazard will be torrential rainfall. A quarter to half an
inch of rainfall could occur in less than 30 minutes. This will
cause ponding on area roads, and possibly minor flooding in low-
lying or poor drainage areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

At 258 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles north of Sand Draw, which is 14 miles southeast of Riverton,
moving northeast at 35 mph.

Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Moneta around 330 AM MDT.
