* At 509 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near McLeansville, or near Greensboro, moving east at
  30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM EDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN ALAMANCE AND NORTHEASTERN GUILFORD COUNTIES...
    
At 521 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over McLeansville, or 9 miles west of Burlington, moving 
east at 30 mph. A storm spotter at 5:15 PM EDT observed a rotating 
wall cloud just north of I-85/40 near mile marker 132.

HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

GUILFORD COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
    
The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been
cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a
Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.  

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
central North Carolina.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Raleigh.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for 
eastern Guilford and Alamance Counties until 615 PM EDT.
