slow moving thunderstorms could produce localized flooding.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT WEST CENTRAL CUMBERLAND COUNTY
UNTIL 345 PM EDT...

At 307 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fayetteville. This storm was nearly stationary.

Pea size hail, pockets of heavy downpours, and wind gusts up to 40
mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Eastover, Bonnie Doone and Vander.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter in a nearby building or vehicle. Wind gusts as high as
40 mph are capable of knocking down tree limbs and blowing around
trash cans, potted plants, lawn furniture and other light outdoor
objects.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
