  Northern Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 815 PM EDT.

* At 420 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly in the
  areas of heaviest rain.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Philadelphia, Trenton, Bensalem, Ewing, Jenkintown, Narberth,
  Pennington, Rockledge, Yardley, Newtown, Abington, Langhorne, Bryn
  Athyn, Washington Crossing, Feasterville-Trevose, Willow Grove,
  Morris Park, Germantown, Northeast Philadelphia and Feasterville.

This includes Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 64
and 76.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM EDT FOR
CENTRAL MERCER...SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS AND
NORTHERN PHILADELPHIA COUNTIES...

At 550 PM EDT, local law enforcement has reported numerous road 
closures and water rescues due to flash flooding in the warned area 
including in Admore, Wynewood, and Gladwyne. 

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, Trenton, Bensalem, Ewing, Jenkintown, Narberth,
Pennington, Rockledge, Yardley, Newtown, Abington, Langhorne, Bryn
Athyn, Washington Crossing, Feasterville-Trevose, Willow Grove,
Morris Park, Germantown, Northeast Philadelphia and Feasterville.

WILL EXPIRE AT 815 PM EDT...

The heavy rain has ended and the flash flood warning will be allowed 
to expire. However a few area creeks remain above flood stage, and 
some minor street flooding remains in poor drainage areas. 
Consequently an Areal Flood Warning remains in effect for the area 
until 1045 PM EDT. Please continue to heed any remaining road 
closures.
