Partially opaque high level cloudiness has moved into northwestern portions of mid state shortly after noontime. Short range models showing that this partially opaque high level cloudiness will be across the entire mid state by the mid afternoon hrs, with this high level cloudiness pushing ewd as the late afternoon hrs progress. Thus, with temp trends still running a few degrees below expected previous high temp values, have lowered afternoon high temps by at least a couple of degrees across the entire mid state region. This means that only locations approaching the TN/AL border will be the selected areas across the mid state region that will experience temps above freezing this afternoon. Tweaked hrly temp, dewpoint, and wind speed/direction grids. Remainder of forecast continues to be on track. && .AVIATION... 18Z TAF DISCUSSION.
