The National Weather Service in The Twin Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  North central Goodhue County in southeastern Minnesota...

* Until 545 PM CDT.
    
* At 518 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Welch, or near Red Wing, moving east at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Red Wing around 525 PM CDT.

This includes U.S. Highway 61 between mile markers 89 and 98.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTH CENTRAL GOODHUE COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...
        
The area of rotation which prompted the warning has moved out of the 
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However gusty 
winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
southeastern Minnesota...and west central Wisconsin.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
northern portions of Goodhue County until 6 PM CDT.
