...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN MONROE...
SOUTHEASTERN SIMPSON...ALLEN AND SOUTHWESTERN BARREN COUNTIES...

At 206 PM CST, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 miles northwest
of Westmoreland, moving east-northeast at 65 mph. This storm is
likely to produce extremely heavy rainfall over a short time and
cloud to ground lightning.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsville, Gamaliel, Fountain Run, Oak Forest, Maynard, Clare,
Austin, Lamb, Alonzo and Flippin.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Use
caution, and take it slow if driving.

Brief torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
