This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central
Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight...

Showers and thunderstorms will affect much of the area this
afternoon. There is the potential for a few strong to severe storms
across middle Georgia, generally along and south of a Columbus to
Macon line. Damaging winds and hail up to 1 inch will be the primary
threats, along with periods of heavy rain that could lead to
localized flooding. Showers and storms, along with any severe
threat, will move east of the area by this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday...

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

There is a slight chance for thunderstorms late Wednesday night and
continuing into Thursday across mainly north Georgia.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to
submit reports of severe weather, including heavy rain, through the
web by going to weather.gov/atlanta.
