The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Lumpkin County in north central Georgia...
  Western Dawson County in north central Georgia...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 250 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across northern Lumpkin and Dawson counties. One to two 
  inches of rain have fallen in the last hour. Flash flooding is 
  expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Amicalola Falls State Park, Camp Merrill,
  Juno, Fausett Lake, Len Foote Hike Inn, Black Gap Shelter, Porter
  Springs, Turners Corner, Nimblewill, Gooch Mountain Shelter, McKee
  and Blood Mountain Shelter.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to two are possible in the warned 
area.
