Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon into tonight.
A few storms may produce up to one inch hail during the late
afternoon into the evening. Localized heavy rainfall will also be
possible during this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Thunderstorm chances persist into Monday across central Iowa,
although severe weather is unlikely with the main concern from
localized heavy rainfall. There will be an additional threat for
thunderstorms later Tuesday into Tuesday night and again late in
the week. There may be an isolated severe storm late Tuesday
afternoon into the evening, mainly in southern Iowa.

Limited spotter activation is possible later this afternoon and
evening.
