Thunderstorms are expected to develop along a surface trough in northwest Kansas this evening, and a cluster of thunderstorms will propagate across northern Kansas tonight. Locally heavy rainfall along with hail up to the size of quarters and gusty winds may accompany the thunderstorm cluster. Day 1 Hazards ------------- * Hail: Limited risk * Thunderstorm wind damage: Limited risk * Flooding: Limited risk * Lightning: Elevated risk * Excessive heat: Elevated risk .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
