...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN CATTARAUGUS AND
SOUTHEASTERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTIES...

At 211 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Falconer, or 7
miles northeast of Jamestown, moving east at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm, along with brief heavy downpours.

Locations impacted include...
Allegany State Park, Falconer, Frewsburg, Conewango, Ellington,
Randolph, Napoli, East Randolph, Steamburg and Kennedy.

This includes Interstate 86 between exits 13 and 18.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTIES...

At 255 PM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms was located from
near Clymer to Jamestown, Randolph, and Little Valley, moving east
at 15 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm, along with brief heavy downpours.

Locations impacted include...
Jamestown, Olean, Salamanca, Allegany State Park, Lakewood,
Falconer, Ashford, Allegany, Franklinville, Clymer, Frewsburg, St.
Bonaventure, Ashford Hollow, Busti, Hinsdale, Great Valley and New
Albion.

This includes Interstate 86 between exits 6 and 27.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT CATTARAUGUS...
CHAUTAUQUA AND ALLEGANY COUNTIES...

At 334 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Cuba to 7 miles northwest of
Salamanca to near Clymer. Movement was east at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Jamestown, Olean, Salamanca, Wellsville, Allegany State Park, Alfred,
Lakewood, Falconer, Ashford, Allegany, Franklinville, Mayville,
Clymer, Belfast, Cuba, Rushford, Jamestown West, Weston Mills, St.
Bonaventure and Ashford Hollow.

This includes Interstate 86 between exits 4 and 33.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
