* Until 1215 AM EDT.
* At 908 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Geneseo, Dansville, Letchworth State Park, Perry, Mount Morris,
Conesus, Portageville, Hemlock and Groveland.
This includes Interstate 390 between exits 4 and 7.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM EDT FOR
EASTERN WYOMING AND LIVINGSTON COUNTIES...
At 1008 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy thunderstorms have
moved north of the warned area, with lighter trailing showers over
the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash
flooding is expected to begin shortly. Even as the heavy rain
subsides, runoff from these storms will continue to fill creeks and
streams this evening, possibly to over bankfull.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Geneseo, Dansville, Letchworth State Park, Perry, Mount Morris,
Conesus, Portageville, Hemlock, Groveland and Springwater.
This includes Interstate 390 between exits 4 and 7.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
