This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Thunderstorms will be possible across much of the Panhandles. Some
storms may become severe with large hail and damaging winds the
main threats. Heavy rain may lead to localized flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Thunderstorms will be possible across much of the Panhandles
Tuesday and Wednesday and then across the Oklahoma Panhandle and
the eastern Texas Panhandle Saturday and Sunday. Some of the
storms on Tuesday may become severe with large hail and damaging
winds the main threats.

...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN DALLAM AND
NORTHWESTERN HARTLEY COUNTIES UNTIL 800 PM CDT...

At 656 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles east of Amistad to 14 miles northeast
of Romero. Movement was north at 15 mph.

Up to nickel size hail and wind gusts of up to 55 mph will be
possible with these storms.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take shelter in a sturdy building if threatening weather approaches.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
