western Massachusetts, east central New York, eastern New York and
southern Vermont.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening.
Some thunderstorms may contain gusty winds, frequent lightning and
locally heavy rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

There is a chance of thunderstorms Monday through Wednesday, mainly
in the afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rainfall is possible
Tuesday mainly west of the Hudson Valley, and Wednesday areawide.

Heat indices on Monday and Tuesday may approach the mid 90s in the
Hudson Valley. A Heat Advisory may be needed.
