This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of north and central
New Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Storm coverage increases today across the area. A few strong to
briefly severe thunderstorms are possible across the far eastern
plains this afternoon and evening. Large hail, damaging winds, and
locally heavy rainfall will be the main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon
across the far eastern plains. Large hail, damaging winds, and
locally heavy rainfall will be the main threats. Strong to severe
storms will be possible again across the southeast on Saturday.
Precipitation chances increase beginning Monday for the entire area.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be required Thursday and Friday across the
eastern plains due to the potential for severe thunderstorms.

...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EAST CENTRAL ROOSEVELT AND
SOUTHEASTERN CURRY COUNTIES UNTIL 200 PM MDT...

At 113 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles south of Saint Vrain, moving northeast at 10 mph.

Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Clovis, Saint Vrain, Cannon Air Force Base, Ranchvale, Floyd and
Portair.
