This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of north and central
New Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a marginal risk for severe storms near the Texas border this
afternoon. Large hail, frequent lightning, damaging winds, and
locally heavy rainfall will be the main hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A significant increase in moisture will produce scattered to numerous
storms along and east of the central mountain chain Saturday, with
storm coverage expanding to western New Mexico Sunday. Some storms
could become strong, and locally heavy rainfall will the main hazard.
Flash flooding will be possible over and beneath recent burn scars.
