to rise across the area. Levels will need to be monitored

.Residual runoff from heavy rains earlier in the week continue to 
cause elevated water levels along some of the local rivers for the 
next few days. We will closely monitor the water levels over the 
weekend.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.

* The river is expected to fall below flood stage by Sunday before 
  midnight.
* Impact...at 15.0 feet...Additional residences downstream of State 
  Road 640 bridge begin flooding.
* Flood history...This compares to a previous crest of 15.4 feet 
  on Aug 20 2004.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* The river is expected to fall below flood stage by tomorrow 
  morning.
* Impact...at 11.0 feet...Private road and bridge 1 mile downstream 
  flood. Agricultural, rural Kibler area begins to flood.
* Flood history...This compares to a previous crest of 11.6 feet 
  on Aug 24 1985.

.MORNING UPDATE...
Spotty shower activity continues to develop this morning as
winds shift to the southwest. This activity will gradually
shift inland through afternoon, with thunderstorm coverage
increasing from 18z on, mainly east of the I-75 corridor.
Warm and muggy conditions expected as highs climb into the
to upper 80s with abundant low level moisture.

Only minor tweaks were made to the forecast today to account
for recent shower development near Tampa Bay. Otherwise,
things appear to be on track.

.AVIATION (12z TAFs)...
Spotty showers will develop this morning near the coast and
shift inland by 18z...where thunderstorms will be more
likely. Winds to become south/southwest at all terminals
through afternoon, then light and variable after 00z.

.MARINE...
High pressure to remain over the waters through the end of
the week with light winds shifting onshore each afternoon. A
weak front will approach the region over the weekend, with
increasing westerly winds, possibly approaching cautionary
levels Sunday into early next week.

Some area rivers are at or approaching flood stage. Residents
living along rivers or faster flowing streams should remain aware
of water levels and be ready to move to higher ground should
flooding be observed.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
