  morning.

CIGs are mostly VFR with some patches of MVFR. The rain will be
completely out of the region shortly after sunrise. Some patchy
drizzle is possible today, especially this morning. MVFR CIGs are
possible again tonight.

.PREV DISCUSSION [254 AM EST]...

.NEAR TERM [Through Today]...

In the upper levels a cut-off low will be over the Southeast today.
At the surface a low is over Tennessee today. The cold front will be
just east of the region by morning. There is plenty of wrap around
moisture behind the low, therefore mostly cloudy skies are expected
today. Some patchy drizzle is possible, mainly in the morning hours.
Rain will move out of the region by mid morning. Highs will be in
the 60s.

.SHORT TERM [Tonight Through Monday]...

Increasing subsidence aloft and a building ridge at the surface
will be the prevailing pattern through the short range forecast
period. Seasonal temperatures are expected both during the day and
overnight. The only exception could be across southeast Alabama
and southwest Georgia on Sunday where increased cloud cover could
keep highs in the middle to upper 50s.

.LONG TERM [Monday Night Through Saturday]...

While the sensible weather pattern is forecast to be rather benign
through mid-week, the upper-levels are forecast to be rather
disturbed with multiple shortwaves rolling through the southern
CONUS. Through the middle of the week, however, a stable lower
troposphere will keep any surface reflection or inclement weather
from developing. Seasonable temperatures will continue through
Wednesday. As low-level flow veers and instability returns towards
the end of the week, the atmosphere will be primed for a more
unsettled period as a highly amplified northern stream trough
moves through the eastern CONUS. Rain chances begin to increase
Wednesday night and could come to an end as early as Thursday
night.

.MARINE...

Advisory conditions due to elevated seas will continue into
tonight, falling below headline levels by Sunday night.
Thereafter, relatively light winds and lowering seas will prevail
through mid-week.

.FIRE WEATHER...

Patchy fog is possible this morning and tonight. Otherwise no fire
weather concerns.

.HYDROLOGY...

Rainfall estimates with the late-week storm system range from an
inch across southeast Alabama and the western Panhandle, up to 4-6
inches in the eastern Big Bend of Florida. Flooding continues
along the Apalachicola river, with new flooding occurring on the
St. Marks and Aucilla rivers. Additionally, the Suwannee and
Ochlockonee are forecast to reach flood stage as early as this
