The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Red River Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
  North central Natchitoches Parish in northwestern Louisiana...

* Until 845 PM CDT
    
* At 757 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Coushatta, or 21 miles northwest of Natchitoches,
  moving east at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southeastern Red River and north central Natchitoches Parishes,
  including the following locations: Edgefield and Black Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN RED RIVER AND NORTH CENTRAL
NATCHITOCHES PARISHES IS CANCELLED...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore the warning has been cancelled.  However small hail is
still possible with this thunderstorm.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northwestern
Louisiana.
