This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest
Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible today and
into tonight across the entire Four State Region. The best chances
for thunderstorms will be this afternoon during peak daytime
heating. This activity should slowly decrease through the evening
and nighttime hours. Brief heavy downpours, gusty winds, and
frequent cloud to ground lightning will be the primary threats.
While an isolated storm could become severe, widespread severe
thunderstorms are not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday...

Scattered thunderstorms are expected each day through the weekend
and into early next week. The greatest thunderstorm activity is
expected each afternoon during peak daytime heating, and any
storms that develop will gradually dissipate during the evening.
Brief heavy downpours, gusty winds, and frequent cloud to ground
lightning will be possible, but widespread severe weather is not
expected.

A tropical low pressure system moving northward from the Gulf of
Mexico and along the Mississippi River may provide more widespread
and persistent thunderstorm chances across mainly Southern
Arkansas and Northern Louisiana Saturday through Monday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of emergency management personnel, amateur radio
operators, and storm spotters is not anticipated through tonight.
