This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

 Limited hail risk.
 Limited thunderstorm wind damage risk.
 Limited flash flooding risk.
 Significant lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorms will continue through the rest of tonight. There is
a limited risk of damaging wind gusts and large hail up to the
size of quarters west of Highway 65.

There is also a risk for localized flash flooding, particularly in
locations that experience repeated thunderstorms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Hot and humid conditions will return to the area Wednesday with
temperatures rising into the mid to upper 90s and heat index
values from the upper 90s to around 107.

Even hotter conditions are expected on Thursday with heat index
values from 100 to 107 expected.

Thunderstorm chances will return to the area Friday into early
next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed in the next three hours for
areas west of Highway 65.
