NORTHEASTERN STOKES...NORTHWESTERN ROCKINGHAM AND SOUTHEASTERN
PATRICK COUNTIES...
Until 345 PM EDT.
At 302 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Collinstown,
moving southeast at 10 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm, along with a
period of torrential rainfall.
Locations impacted include...
Danbury...
Sandy Ridge...
Dillard...
Collinstown...
and Prestonville.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
