Winds will be the main feature of this TAF period. Southerly
surface winds will generally increase through the period,
particularly Wednesday morning. A low-level jet is expected to
form overnight, resulting in substantial low-level wind shear at
all sites toward sunrise. As daytime vertical mixing gets underway
by mid-morning, the LLWS will diminish, but surface winds and
gusts will increase. Winds will continue into the night Wednesday
night, and it is possible that LLWS will again be significant
early Thursday.
