At 614 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Haven, or 8
miles southeast of Monticello, moving southeast at 45 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Middletown, Walden, Goshen, Howells, Chester, Montgomery, Florida,
Cuddebackville, Otisville, Huguenot, Scotchtown, Deerpark,
Mechanicstown, Maybrook and Slate Hill.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
