southern Minnesota...and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Showers and thunderstorms are likely today with the main threat
being heavy rainfall and localized flooding or ponding of water.
The threat for severe weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Showers and thunderstorms are expected Wednesday through
Thursday. The main threat will be heavy rainfall with several
inches possible, which may lead to localized flooding. Severe
weather will also be possible, especially from southern MN
through western WI on Thursday.

Burnsville, Lakeville, Apple Valley, Shakopee, Savage, Prior Lake,
Farmington, Belle Plaine, Glencoe, Jordan, Cannon Falls and Carver.

This includes Mystic Lake Casino.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE

...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT REDWOOD AND
SOUTHWESTERN BROWN COUNTIES...

At 619 AM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Ghent to near Garvin to near Adrian.
Movement was east at 55 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Redwood Falls, Springfield, Walnut Grove, Lamberton, Wabasso,
Sanborn, Vesta, Milroy, Lucan, Clements, Revere and Seaforth.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 14 between mile markers 44 and 76.
 U.S. Highway 71 between mile markers 52 and 75.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
