...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT CENTRAL FREEBORN...
SOUTHWESTERN STEELE AND SOUTHEASTERN WASECA COUNTIES...

At 736 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered near Clarks Grove,
or 7 miles north of Albert Lea, moving north at 40 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Albert Lea, New Richland, Clarks Grove, Ellendale, Glenville, Geneva,
Hartland, Hollandale, Freeborn, Hayward, Otisco and Lemond.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 5 and 37.
 Interstate 90 between mile markers 148 and 170.

Funnel clouds from this shower/thunderstorm could briefly touch down
as weak tornadoes. People in the affected area should remain inside
a sturdy structure until the shower/thunderstorm passes.
