The National Weather Service in The Twin Cities has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Western Redwood County in southwestern Minnesota...
  Southeastern Yellow Medicine County in west central Minnesota...

* Until 130 AM CDT.

* At 1247 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 6 miles southeast of Cottonwood to near Tracy,
  moving northeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include...
  Walnut Grove, Wabasso, Wood Lake, Echo, Belview, Vesta, Milroy,
  Lucan and Seaforth.

This includes U.S. Highway 14 between mile markers 44 and 49.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.

At 118 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Seaforth to near Lucan, moving northeast at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Half dollar size hail.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

Locations impacted include...
Wabasso, Vesta, Lucan and Seaforth.

limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the severe thunderstorm warning for northwestern Redwood 
county will be allowed to expire. However small hail and heavy rain 
are still possible with these thunderstorms.
