The National Weather Service in The Twin Cities has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Kandiyohi County in central Minnesota...

* Until 100 AM CDT.

* At 1229 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Raymond, or
  9 miles southwest of Willmar, moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include...
  Willmar, New London, Spicer, Raymond, Kandiyohi, Svea and Priam. 

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 12 between mile markers 70 and 85.
 U.S. Highway 71 between mile markers 113 and 130.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.

hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
