Mississippi and the coastal waters of Alabama and northwest
Florida.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop across the region
this afternoon into early this evening. A few of the stronger
storms that develop will be capable of producing locally strong
wind gusts, frequent lightning strikes and locally heavy
downpours.

There is a moderate risk of rip currents along the Alabama and
northwest Florida panhandle beaches today and tonight.

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will be capable of
producing locally strong wind gusts and higher seas over the
marine area today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Winds and seas will be locally higher near isolated to scattered
showers and thunderstorms. Otherwise, the probability for
widespread hazardous weather is low.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
NORTHWESTERN MOBILE AND NORTHEASTERN GEORGE COUNTIES UNTIL 1130 AM
CDT...

At 1102 AM CDT, the strong thunderstorm was located 8 miles northwest
of Wilmer, or 9 miles east of Lucedale. This storm was nearly
stationary.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Mobile
and northeastern George Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

NORTHWESTERN MOBILE COUNTY UNTIL NOON CDT...

At 1132 AM CDT, the strong thunderstorm was located 4 miles west of
Chunchula, or 11 miles south of Citronelle. This storm was nearly
stationary.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Chunchula, Semmes and Wilmer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
