At 116 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms and heavy showers were
located along a line extending from near Bogue to Otway to 7 miles
southeast of Cape Lookout Lighthouse. Movement was north at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
New Bern, Havelock, Morehead City, Newport, Cedar Island, James City,
Trent Woods, River Bend, South River, Cape Carteret, North River,
Davis, Straits, Atlantic, Sealevel, Marshallberg, Smyrna, Merrimon,
Pine Knoll Shores and Harlowe.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Stokes, Belhaven, Sladesville, Ransomville, Ponzer, Scranton,
Pinetown, Robersonville, Pungo, Blounts Creek, Pamlico Beach,
