At 1157 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Adel, or 24 miles east of Lakeview, moving north at 15 mph. Dime size hail, heavy rain, and winds in excess of 35 mph will be possible with this storm. Locations impacted include... Highway 140 near Adel. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Heavy rain is also expected with this storm, and flooding is possible.
