This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms: Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected
again across the area today with the greatest coverage over interior
and east coast areas this afternoon. A few thunderstorms could be
strong. The primary threats are lightning and gusty winds.

Waterspouts: Conditions are favorable for the development of
waterspouts over the Atlantic waters including Biscayne Bay.

Wind: Thunderstorms could produce brief gusty winds of 40 to 50 mph.

Temperatures: Maximum heat index values this afternoon of around 100
degrees will be possible over the western interior and Gulf Coast
region.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected through Sunday, then
mainly scattered next week each day, with greatest coverage across the
interior and Gulf coast during the afternoons and evenings. The primary
threat will be lightning, although gusty winds and locally heavy rain
are also possible.
