.AVIATION...
Frontal boundary over South Florida causing scattered showers
mainly south of PBI/APF, mainly affecting vicinity FLL/MIA area
terminals through about 00z-03z, as well as west across the
Everglades. Have VCSH in TAFs at this time but individual
terminals may need to be updated to include TEMPO groups for MVFR
conditions or perhaps even TS, especially MIA area. Wind NE-E
10-15 knots with occasional gusts near 20 knots, except Gulf sea
breeze at KAPF to 10-15 knots through 02z. Showers/TEMPO MVFR
could linger through part of tonight FLL/MIA area before slightly
drier air arrives for daytime on Friday.

This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms: There is a slight chance of thunderstorms this
afternoon and early this evening over southern and eastern sections
of South Florida and the Atlantic waters. The primary threat will be
lightning.

Visibility: Patchy fog may reduce visibility below one half mile in
a few locations across interior South Florida late tonight.

Waterspouts: Isolated waterspouts will be possible over the nearshore
and offshore waters of the Atlantic east of the Miami- Dade and
Broward County coastal regions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

The threat for rip currents is expected to increase along the
Atlantic beaches late Friday into early next week.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms Sunday and again on
Tuesday with lightning the primary threat.

...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN MIAMI-DADE AND SOUTH
CENTRAL BROWARD COUNTIES UNTIL 445 PM EDT...

* At 421 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were
  tracking a gusty shower near Pembroke Pines, moving south at 20
  mph.

* Wind gusts up to 50 mph and funnel clouds will be possible with
  this shower.

* Locations impacted include...
  Miami, Hialeah, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Davie, Miami Gardens,
  Weston, Doral, Miami Lakes, Cooper City, Hialeah Gardens, Miami
  Springs, Sweetwater, Medley, Palm Springs North, Sunshine Acres,
  Intersection I-75 And Griffin Road, Country Club, Pennsuco and
  Miami International Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.

This activity was also developing in an environment favorable for the
formation of funnel clouds. Stay tuned to NOAA weather radio and
local media for additional updates and possible warnings.
