This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE..Tonight

Showers and thunderstorms continue to develop over western Arkansas
and will continue to advance eastward through the night as a cold
front surges east through the state.

This line of thunderstorms will be moving over central sections of
the state after midnight. Expect this line of thunderstorms to be
east of the state by just after sunrise Monday morning.

Some strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible with this line
of thunderstorms overnight. The best chances for seeing severe
weather will be across the western half of the state. The primary
threats with the strongest storms will be damaging winds, though a
few brief, weak tornadoes may be seen along the leading edge of the
line of thunderstorms. Some locally heavy rainfall may also be seen.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday Through Saturday

Showers and thunderstorms will exit to east of Arkansas Monday
morning...with the threat for severe weather becoming low.
However...breezy west and northwest winds will be seen...with
winds of 15 to 25 mph expected...with gusts over 30 mph possible.
As a result...caution is advised on area lakes for these breezy
conditions through Monday afternoon.

A new storm system and front will bring good chances of rain by
Friday night and Saturday. There may be a brief wintry mix as
precipitation ends late Saturday night and Sunday.
