LEWIS COUNTIES UNTIL 245 PM CDT...

At 159 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Canton, moving southeast at 15 mph.

Dime size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
this storm. Torrential rainfall and frequent lightning is also
occurring with this strong thunderstorm.

Locations impacted include...
Canton, Mendon, La Grange, Ursa, Lima and Meyer.

This also includes  Wakonda State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Emden, moving southeast at 15 mph.

Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
this storm. Torrential rainfall and frequent lightning is also
occurring with this strong thunderstorm.

Locations impacted include...
Monroe City, Warren, Shelbyville, Emden and Hunnewell.
