  Niblett Bluff Park with access roads to camp houses cut off around 
  the park. Access roads to the river in Northeastern Orange County 
  become flooded.

.DISCUSSION...
SFC front pushing into Acadiana at this time per latest Obs and
radar/satellite data. Intrusion of drier air is lagging the
wind shift a bit, with lower Td air having just recently pushed
into interior E TX. Little more than shallow showers have occurred
with the fropa thus far, and that is unlikely to change prior to
the boundary exiting our area in the next few hours given the
robust inhibition noted on the 12Z KLCH RAOB. Amid decreasing
cloud cover and a drying airmass, afternoon temperatures are
expected to climb into the lower/mid 80s. Inherited forecast was
generally on target, with minor updates to first period grids to
bring them in line with observational trends. Over the coastal
waters, extended the marine dense fog advisory over the nearshore
waters east of Cameron through 1 pm, as satellite and observations
indicate areas of dense fog persisting ahead of the SFC front.

DISCUSSION...
For 12z TAF issuance.

AVIATION...

Widespread fog has settled across the region this morning in the
wake of storms that have now cleared the region. Visibilities have
mostly remained above 5SM this morning, with the exception of ARA.
However, ceilings have fallen to IFR and LIFR over the last
several hours for all sites but AEX. Expect ceilings to continue
lowering and visibilities to decrease through around 12-13Z.

A line of showers along the first of two cold fronts should
briefly impact BPT-LCH- AEX beginning around 13-14Z, then shifting
eastward into LFT-ARA by 15Z. Winds will begin shifting to the
SW then W as this frontal boundary pushes through the area.
Ceilings will quickly begin to lift following FROPA and we should
see a return to VFR conditions by late morning into early
afternoon. Winds will also increase to around 10KT with gusts to
around 15KT following the front.

DISCUSSION...
Precipitation has ended across the area for the time being and has
been replaced by somewhat widespread, but generally not dense fog.
Visibilities have been fairly steady at between 2 and 3 miles at
most locations. A few areas may see some dense fog as the morning
wears on, but don't expect it to become widespread enough to
warrant a dense fog advisory inland. However, a dense fog advisory
continues for the nearshore waters where patchy dense marine fog
is expected to persist through at least mid morning.

Another round of isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms
will move across the area this morning in association with the
first of two frontal boundaries progged to move through. In
following several short range models, the general consensus is
that precipitation should end for southeast Texas by mid morning,
southwest Louisiana by around noon and acadiana by early
afternoon. This first front will turn winds out of the west and
while some slightly drier air will follow, the bigger cool down
will come with the second front progged to move quickly through
the area overnight. Winds behind this front will turn
northwesterly Tuesday and increase to around 15 MPH with gusts of
20 to 25 possible.

The gusty winds will diminish Tuesday evening as high pressure
begins to settle over the region setting up a beautiful mid week
forecast with seasonal temperatures and plenty of sun. Rain
chances look to return next weekend, but guidance remains highly
spread on evolution.

A dense fog advisory remains in effect for the nearshore waters
until 10 am this morning due to patchy dense fog. A cold front
will move through the area during the day ushering in drier air
which will allow this fog to dissipate. Winds behind the front
will turn westerly initially then increase out of the northwest
overnight as a second front quickly moves through the area.
Moderate and gusty offshore flow is expected on Tuesday and a
Small Craft Advisory may be needed during the day. Winds weaken
once again by Tuesday night before turning back onshore Thursday.

Patchy fog this morning will have the potential to reduce
visibilities to below one mile in a few locations. However,
visibilities between 2 and 3 miles will be more common with the
fog lifting by mid morning.

A cold front will move through the area this morning accompanied
by another round of isolated to scattered showers and
thunderstorms. Precipitation will come to an end across southeast
Texas by mid morning, southwest Louisiana by around noon and
across acadiana by early afternoon. Rainfall accumulations of
around a tenth of an inch can be expected with higher amounts
possible in more isolated heavy rain producing storms.
