  Glenmora, including Strothers Crossing Road near the community of 
  Calcasieu and Price Crossing Road near Hineston have two to three 
  feet of water over the road and are subject to being closed.

.DISCUSSION...A cold front is stretched from the outer banks of
the Carolinas across the FL Panhandle into the western gulf. A
surface ridge is centered over the northern plains and is
stretched into the northern gulf coast. Aloft, a trough is over
much of the country, however an upper low near the west coast is
gradually shifting south and west.

Tonight into Tuesday, the surface ridge will continue moving
toward the east coast gradually turning the surface flow more
east while the area is under a southwest flow aloft. The front
over the gulf is expected to lift north closer to the coast while
a weak upper disturbance passes the area. Isentropic lift will
increase ahead of the disturbance resulting in scattered to
numerous showers Fat Tuesday. At the current time, overall rain
amounts look fairly light, however a few thunderstorms may occur
as well producing localized brief heavy rain.

The surface ridge will continue east allowing a warm front to lift
north across the area Tuesday night into Wednesday. This will warm
and moisten the area into mid to late week. Much above normal
temps are expected Tuesday through Thursday as ridging from the
gulf sets up.

The next front is expected Friday with a cooling trend into the
weekend

.MARINE...A moderate offshore flow is continuing today in the wake
of a cold front that passed a day or so ago. As high pressure
builds in wind speeds will decrease and then veer east and
southeast through the next day or two while the ridge passes. A
warm and moist air mass will advect back in with sea fog becoming
possible Tuesday night into early Wednesday.

sea fog will be possible near the coast on Wednesday night into
Thursday morning.

A cold front will move across on late Friday with scattered
