This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Louisiana, south central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana, west
central Louisiana, and southeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Minor flooding will continue on the lower Sabine River near
Deweyville while moderate flooding will continue along the lower
Atchafalaya River near Morgan City.

Otherwise, no hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase beginning Tuesday
afternoon and continue through Thursday. The highest rain chances
will be from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning as a
cold front and upper level low pressure system approaches and
moves through the area. Some storms could be strong to severe,
with damaging wind gusts and large hail possible. Excessive rainfall
will also be possible during this time, with area average rainfall
amounts of 2 to 3 inches. This could result in flooding across
portions of the area, with additional flood warnings likely on

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for moderate southerly winds
and seas. Small craft exercise caution conditions are expected
over the inland lakes and bays. Winds and seas will subside by
this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Showers and thunderstorms will increase Wednesday and continue
through Thursday evening. Thunderstorms will be capable of
producing very heavy rainfall, frequent lightning and gusty winds.
